Yesterday Scribd, an Online document hosting service, launched an iPhone app that aims at enhancing reading on smartphone screens. The app removes external links, ads and other clutter from articles to make it easier and more pleasant to read and users can scrolling up and down or swipe right to left see the next page of content. The pinching feature has also been implemented whereas the user uses a pinching gesture on the screen to zoom in and out. The text auto-rewraps for ease of use and font clarity.
