The HTC Flyer, HTC’s flagship tablet featuring HTC Sense, is hitting stores across Europe today. The 7-inch tablet running Android sports a peppy 1.5Ghz processor and comes with a “Magic Pen” (HTCs name for their stylus). Pricing is set at £599 / €649 for the 3G-equipped 32GB variant or £479 / €499 for the one with only WiFi and 16GB on board. Local mobile phone carriers are offering contract pricing as low as £129 . HTC confirmed that there will be aluminum unibodies hitting shelves today.

The HTC Flyer is conveniently compact and light for travel, yet amazingly powerful. Although it’s not a dual core which may worry some 1.5Ghz on a small tablet running a light OS is PLENTY! Don’t be shy. To make it even better, it features Adobe Flash, multi-window browsing with pinch to zoom and a clever quick look-up that lets you tap into Wikipedia, Youtube and other web resources.
