Hackers just wont give Sony a break these days. A month after the Playstation Network (read here) was hacked, 1 week after their Greek online music service Sony Ericsson’s Canada eShop (online store) was hacked. Before Sony could patch it up more than 2,000 Canadian customers information was extracted. Sony claims that extracted accounts were encrypted and no credit card details were lost but this still spells worry for Sony, customers and investors alike. The eShop has been taken offline temporarily to fix the cracks which allowed the hackers to access the information. Let’s just hope this is Sony’s last cyber issue.
