So it’s safe to say the rumors are true! Nintendo’s next-gen console controller will sport a 6.5 inch display which can be used to play games when a TV is in use. It’ll also feature a microphone, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, dual analog controls, two shoulder buttons and two triggers, a front-facing camera, a stylus, and it’s a touchscreen too!

Although the controller packs a lot of cool features it was not designed to make the Wii U a portable gaming machine even though you’ll be able to chat and play games via the handheld. The display resolution hasn’t been announced yet but rumor has it (and by sight it’s pretty much confirmed) that the display will be 16:9 to match widescreen display TVs people have in their homes.
