Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the pictures on this blog loading? I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Please let us know which pages you are having difficulty viewing pictures. Also check to see whether you are on a network that restricts access to certain sites. Perhaps the picture host is blocked.
I don’t get it… what does messing with an illegally downloaded app have to do with the app store? Let alone how it can change the app store? If I understand you correctly: download a free official app. Copy some files from it. Illegally download another app. Replace some of its files by those copied from the legal free app. Your app store has now been hacked. Uh, whatever??? How can that be??
This is the method for using non-purchased apps downloaded from the internet. Without this method you would be unable to use the application as you wouldn’t have a valid “digital receipt”.
Doesn’t Apple look at the digital receipts and compare records since everyone is logged in the the almighty net all of the time to sync their Apple devices? I haven’t read the rules but can they ban you or brick your apps/computer/iPhone etc. from logging in or syncing?
bricking only occurs on an ipod iphone ipad because a jailbreak encountered some fatal error resulting in your system being hosed. its not simply locking up its more like turning it on to a wall of random text looping endlessly
Just Jailbreak your phone, iPhone 4 is now as simple as it gets in fact with http://www.jailbreakme.com then add http://www.sinfuliphonerepo.com to your repositories and download installous 4. Installous will allow you to browse the app store and download cracked apps directly to your phone, so there is no messing with the desktop.
You have to download the applications from other sources such as filestube. The only time you use the Mac Appstore to download anything is when you download the initial free application
I’m having difficulty in understanding how all this works. You mean once I do the initial setup of creating a app crack folder on my desktop I should be able to click on “buy” on any app I want and it will download and run on my computer providing I have already found that .dmg file from another site? Wouldn’t I be just as satisfied if I just opened the dmg file and run the application?
What benefit would I get from trying to crack the app store when I can just find the file in any of the torrent sites and get the full download?
Apps from the Mac AppStore require certificates to run. Downloading a free app generates those files. The instructions don’t reference ever clicking “buy” on a paid app. You search the appstore for the app you want, take note of the version # and continuing following the instructions (noted below after you’ve already completed steps 1-3)
-Search the App Store for the app you want
-Go to a torrent or download site (such as http://www.filestube.com) and search for the .dmg (i.e. search Angry Birds dog) and match the version number
-Once downloaded double click to verify and the finder window will open
-Now drag Angry Birds into the Applications folder. Right click, Show Package Contents, navigate to Contents folder and delete _CodeSignature, _MASReceipt and CodeResources. Now paste in the files you copied from the Twitter.app in step 3.

Yes that is correct. But make sure you read the disclaimer. I’s important to support developers so they can afford to continue to make great apps.

This relates to the Mac AppStore for Mac laptops and desktops not the iPhone.

It did not work for me. I did everything and even restarted the computer but when i click buy app it still says insufficient credit remaining

No because Apple will have no record of you downloading the application from the AppStore. You would have to attain it via the instructions
